SENIOR PEOPLE OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE

The Role


The learning & career development executive is responsible for managing the learning & development, performance management and career management Lifecyle ensuring development and delivery of initiatives that improve employee performance.

Key Responsibilities


Onboarding/Induction:

Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

Ensure new hires get necessary job information from hiring manager (JD, OKRs etc)

Have one month & 6 months check in with new hires.

Ensure new hires go through the compliance training.

Conduct stay interviews.


Employee Relations:

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters the Employee Experience Director

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Develop and share the People Operations Newsletter

Carry out Business partnering with Heads of Departments

Develop and deploy Employee Engagement initiatives.


Learning & Development:

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

Conduct Training need analysis and post training assessment.

Management of the Absorb LMS platform.

Calendar and content development as well as training curriculum

Develop Learn and Development strategies.


Performance Management:

Ensure and assist employees to set smart goals & Quarterly OKRs

Ensure probationary appraisals are conducted as and at when due

Manage the PM Cycle

Assist Team leads and departmental heads with Performance Improvement Plans when needed.


Career Management:

Design and development of competency framework

Career management across all levels

Succession Planning

Design and management of graduate training program


Compliance:

Ensure compliance to all/any training.

Review, development and driving of People Operation Policies

Ensure remittance and compliance to the local training regulations (ITF)

Any other duties assigned.


Educational qualification and key skills

  • Minimum of a BSC/HND from a reputable institution
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human resources with strong skill set in Learning & Development & Performance Management
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
